Are you measured in heartbeats, quick and desperate, slow and helpless?
Or in mood-swings, strong and fearless, then weak and restless?
Can I quantify your contents in a word or a sentence,
Or crucify your presence by a turn towards repentance?
Is each tear a sign that you'll soon disappear?
Does every gasp somehow loosen your grasp?
Or are you independent of all that I do
So that the best I can do is just lie here and wait, wait
Patiently wait for a valiant escape

Nice work, You've bilt a killer piece, full of emotion and passion. This being said, it could be expanded on tremendously if one had the desire. Still, nice job.
